Smiltynė villa – museum collection store

A Soviet-era L-shaped house in Smiltynė was converted for the Lithuanian Sea Museum's collections. In the design proposals architect Kristina Jurkutė offered two variants, both matched to the architecture of the Smiltynė villas.

The reconstruction was completed in 2025. The building now holds more than 320 m² of storage with rooms for inspecting, packing, restoring and conserving objects.
