Nicer, cosier and more comfortable

We carry out a wide range of carpentry work, including the renovation and refurbishment of homes. It is extensive work that takes skill and experience – and that is what our carpenters offer.

We can make your home nicer, cosier and more comfortable to live in, or preserve the authentic style it has. All work is carried out in line with current laws and regulations.

Since timber houses are the most common in Norway, we work with all kinds of wood and timber structures.

Replacing cladding

Cladding protects the core of the wall against the weather and mechanical damage, and it reduces the risk of rot and damp. It also matters a great deal for how the house looks.

«Western Norway is the wettest region in the country. Horizontal cladding is the most common here because it sheds water better than vertical cladding.»

There are several things to consider when you replace or put up new exterior cladding. We are happy to guide you.

Doors and windows

Beautiful doors and windows deserve a beautiful frame. Our carpenters replace old interior doors, front doors and windows, and we fit all kinds of doors and windows. You do not need to think about frames and hinges – we take care of it all.

Fitted furniture

Made-to-measure cabinets, built and fitted on site: wardrobes, integrated fridge housings and furniture that fits exactly where it is meant to stand. We recently delivered a fitted unit with a fridge on one side and a wardrobe on the other.

Extensions and added storeys

An extension can be built as part of the original house, so that it becomes a continuation of it. An added storey usually extends the house upwards, and such work requires certified responsible companies. The Norwegian Building Authority explains what you can build without applying to the municipality.
