Design of public buildings

We design public and commercial buildings. We prepare:

• administrative building and office projects;

• projects for wholesale trading buildings with warehouses;

• projects for retail buildings and shopping centres;

• hotel and guesthouse projects.

Among our clients are IKI, Lidl, Rimi, Maxima and Autoaibė. We have worked with some clients more than once. These examples of collaboration were featured in a review of the company’s 11 years of activity.

We tailor the architecture of each public building to its purpose, setting and visitors' needs. We also develop structural and engineering systems solutions. We seek an option that meets the client's expectations and planned budget.

Design preparation

We begin the design process with a conversation with the client, discussing their needs, requirements and preliminary budget. We coordinate design solutions with the municipality, taking architectural requirements and the surrounding built environment into account. We prepare the design and provide design supervision during construction. We agree on the scope of work and schedule in advance.

Architectural solutions

Taking the client’s wishes into account, we prepare design proposals: floor plans, a site plan and visualisations. The architectural solution is shaped by:

• the building's location;

• the architecture of neighbouring buildings;

• the client's preferences;

• the planned budget, etc.

We select durable materials and contemporary architectural solutions. We consider the cost and quality of façade materials, and how the building will fit into its surroundings.

Choosing an architectural concept

We present several initial options and work with you to choose the most suitable one. We then develop it further, refining the building’s exterior, layout and materials. We take into account the intended use, architectural requirements, surrounding development and budget. We discuss the design solutions until we agree on a final option.
